Frequently Asked Questions
What does Imagine charge for change management consulting?
We charge a flat fee per consulting project starting at $15,000. Imagine utilizes a sliding scale to ensure we’re able to provide our support and expertise to organizations of all sizes. This equitable approach to our fee structure reduces the cost of standard services by up to 30% for the most under-resourced organizations. Coaching, advisory, and workshop/retreat facilitation is offered at hourly and daily rates, also utilizing a sliding scale.
What does your process look like, and what will we walk away with?
Most engagements start with a focused assessment or audit, then move into collaborative design, followed by practical tools and an implementation roadmap. You’ll walk away with tangible deliverables your team can use such as plans, role clarity, systems recommendations, and custom templates and tools.
Will you engage staff and stakeholders, or just advise leadership?
Absolutely! This is a critical aspect of change work and the only sure way to make sure your plans reflect the lived experiences and voices of those uplifting and impacted by your organization. Most projects will include a combination of structured input through interviews, focus groups, surveys, etc. Note that we will only step into an "advisor" role with leaders who actively engage their staff, boards, and partners in the decision-making process.
How does Imagine approach equity and anti-racism in this work?
Our approach goes beyond training or blanket statements. We look at how decisions get made, how power shows up, and how policies and day-to-day practices impact staff and participant experience. We then help you change your systems, not just your words.
Can you help us implement, or do you only deliver recommendations?
We can support implementation. That can include facilitation, project support, rollout planning, change enablement, and leadership coaching. And since it's such a pivotal moment, we especially love to support during the first 30-90 days after key decisions are made.
Do you offer coaching as part of the work?
Yes. Coaching can be integrated into strategy, org design, and change efforts to support leaders and teams as expectations shift and new ways of working roll out.
What if we’re in crisis mode (turnover, budget cuts, leadership transition)?
That's a common entry point for us. We can scope a shorter, focused engagement to stabilize priorities, decision-making, roles, and communication—then build toward longer-term work, if needed.
